Thermal springs with therapeutic water (39 °C) spring up in the mountains, this water is considered one of the mineral richest thermal waters in Europe and is unique in its composition and properties! Thermal water that already led the former Ottoman rulers to build bath houses. Even today there are several spas.

Many people with rheumatic, stress and heart problems describe the climate around Ohrid due to its location as very pleasant, partly due to the dry air and cooler nights ( always a spring feeling ).
