Ølnessetervegen 94 lies in Ølnesseter, in an established cabin area in Sør-Aurdal. Sør-Aurdal municipality is the southernmost municipality in Valdres. This provides a short drive to areas around Oslo, Hønefoss, Gjøvik, and Lillehammer. The cabin sits nicely with panoramic views and scenic hiking terrain right outside the cabin door. There are about 250 km of groomed cross-country trails, and you can put on your skis right outside the door and glide into the trail network. There are several trail associations in the area that all intersect to cover the entire region. To the south you can walk to Reset in Hedalen; to the west is Sanderstølen as a hiking destination; to the north you can walk all the way to Filefjell. In summer there are numerous paths and pastoral roads, ideal for hiking or cycling. The terrain is suitable for everyone, whether you want a short stroll or to conquer mountain peaks. If you take a trip up to Ølnesseterfjellet, you have views far into Jotunheimen.
