Montafon is located in the south of Vorarlberg, bordering Switzerland, in the state of Vorarlberg. The charming

mountain village of Gaschurn lies at the end of the Montafon valley. In summer, this village offers access to the beautiful Silvretta

Hochalpenstrasse.

Winter activities:

Experience a range of winter activities, such as winter hiking, skiing/snowboarding on the slopes of the

Silvretta Montafon or Brandnertal ski area, cross-country skiing, and tobogganing—everything is possible in this modern ski area.

Snow guarantee: Silvretta Montafon guarantees snow up to an altitude of 2,430 meters. This ski area connects several

ski villages, including St. Gallenkirch, Gargellen, and Schruns, with a total of 140 km of slopes.

Summer activities:

Thanks to its 39-kilometer-long valley, Montafon offers a complete mountain experience. The literal highlight is

Piz Buin, at 3,312 meters the highest mountain in the region.
