The construction company Levent Living Co. is part of the Levent Group corporation, the largest holding company in Northern Cyprus, founded in 1961.
The corporation is represented in various business areas:
• Construction
Levent Living Co. was founded in 1983 and is the largest construction company in Northern Cyprus. To date, the company has built more than 5,000 residential buildings and about 300,000 m2 of commercial space.
Levent Living Co. builds high quality real estate with modern amenities and developed infrastructure in the most picturesque areas of Northern Cyprus from the design stage to the finished house with the possibility of paying on credit up to 10 years with a minimum down payment of 25%.
• Retail and Franchise
The company owns the largest Lemar supermarket chain in Northern Cyprus (17 supermarkets), Burger King, Popeyes fast food outlets, as well as Cineplex cinemas.
• Education
In 1997 Levent group opened the Cyprus International University. Today, more than 20,000 students study at the university. Teaching is conducted in English. The university has a kindergarten, elementary school and college.
• Production
The company produces most of the building materials in its factories: bricks, flooring, wood, aluminum and iron, concrete, crushed stone and more. The company also produces its own wine.
• Import and distribution
The company is the exclusive distributor of brands such as Honda, Beko and Sony.
The company produces Stonite artificial stone coverings, which are used as floor and wall tiles and are exported to Turkey, Australia and European countries.
• Agriculture
Since 1998, the company has been producing milk, chicken meat, eggs, and growing fruits and vegetables for its supermarkets and restaurants.
• Banking and Investments
Levent Group owns a 49% stake in the oil company Turkish Cypriot Petroleum. The company has invested $15 million to upgrade equipment and increase productivity.
In 2011, the private bank Nova Bank was opened. The bank provides loans for the purchase of real estate from the company for local and foreign citizens.
