It is also popular with health tourism enthusiasts because the mud pits nearby have healing properties. Platja es Canar is one of the most popular beaches east of Ibiza. Most visitors are families with children attracted by the picturesque beach and the hippy market nearby. There are also several official nude beaches on the island, including Aigues Blanques beach.
Furthermore, Cala Bassa beach, located in the western part of the island, is equally popular with discerning tourists and locals. It is also a perfect choice for water sports thanks to its sports facilities and rental services. The small beach of Cala d’Hort is located on the picturesque west coast. From here there is the opportunity to see one of the island’s most important natural landmarks, the beautiful cliffs of Es Verda. Another comfortable beach is the Calo des Moro, which is open from morning to night.

Ibiza is the mecca of clubs. But there are also things to do during the day for those who like active recreation and extreme sports. Want to go on a speedboat? You can rent a boat, jet ski or catamaran on most of the major beaches. Do you enjoy fishing? You can buy an ‘Individual recreational fishing licence’ after which you can go fishing on the coast or in the open sea on a rented boat. Are you a sailor or would you like to learn? Many sailing schools are at your disposal. They have programmes for beginners and for experienced sailors.
Those who prefer to explore the beauty of the island can choose from many hiking trails of varying difficulty while enjoying the beautiful scenery. You can explore the landscape in a different way such as horse riding, a nice combination of tourism and interaction with animals.
Fans of the underground world will be interested in the San Miguel caves. True, Ibiza is known for its ‘hippie vibes’ but the island has so much more to offer its visitors. Not only the beautiful landscape but also the stunning beaches are worth visiting. In particular, the many water activities are highly recommended.
On the other hand, the beautiful old architecture cannot be left behind either. In short, an island where many holidays can be enjoyed or perhaps even a permanent stay.

Menorca is the best destination for outdoor enthusiasts. The best part of the island for hiking is the centre with a mix of green scenic meadows and stone deserts. The contrast of stones and vegetation is a beautiful backdrop during an excursion on di island. During excursions, tourists will find numerous exotic plants and flowers, furthermore variety of unique herbs and shrubs also grows on Menorca. Many tourists are attracted to the island of Menorca, as the island has more than 120 coastal recreation points. Some parts of the coast are only accessible by sea, especially beaches of Cala Galdana and Cala Anna are very popular among holidaymakers.
More private and secluded beaches are located in the northern part of the island as the sea is quite calm there. This is the main feature that makes the area perfect even for a comfortable holiday with children. Lovers of modern entertainment should visit the island’s town of Alaior, which is home to the largest and most popular entertainment complex Bowling Son Bou. Those who want to ride horses should visit the equestrian centre here near the tourist information centre.
