2018 will be our 14th year living the “dolce vita” It’s been tough, but hey someone’s got to do it. We live in Scalea, a beach resort along the west coast of Calabria. A town blessed with great restaurants, bars and over 6km of beach. Calabria suffers over 8 month’s summer climate and people just don’t understand how demanding sunbathing can be. In between the sunbathing we manage to sell a few properties, renovate a few ruins, manage bill payments and deal with the wonderful Calabrian red tape.
